Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Restaurante LO ALTO is renowned for its delicious cuisine which is based on traditional cooking.

The menu, is changed for each season of the year, has traditional dishes from the region at value for money prices.

Beans from El Arenal, veal filet steak from Avila, escabeches, .... are combined with carpaccios, micuit de foie, amazing salads, soups, shell fish, .... and irrisistable home made desserts.

One of the distinctive aspects of the cuisine is the use of excellent raw materials from the region: fruit from the local cooperatives (cherries, figs, chestnuts, white beans from El Arenal, veal from Avila, goats meat from Candeleda, goats cheese from La Adrada, vegetables from the local farms, mushrooms from our forests, asparagus from the Tietar riverside ...

We also offer a well balanced Wine List of quality red and white wines at reasonable prices.

The dining room, which enjoys wonderful views, has a sitting room with log fire, an open air childrens area, two excellent garden terraces and parking.

Quality, attention to detail and good prices are the basic principles of LO ALTO.

The Chef de cuisine has learned her trade with two of Spain's culinary grandees, Carlos Cidon and Paco Roncero.
